Premier Cares Award Entry Timeline
Award entry timeline
The Monroe E. Trout Premier Cares Award recognizes not-for-profit organizations that have been in operation for more than two years and have achieved demonstrable results in health status improvement. Each year, the award process follows this timeline:
- An online entry form is available in March.
- Requests for entries are mailed in April.
- The entry deadline is the last business day of July.
- Entries are reviewed for completeness and evaluated by a panel of healthcare professionals in August. The panel selects semi-finalist entries.
- Cares Award judges review and score semi-finalists during September and October.
- Finalists are identified and notified in November and December. (Entries that are not selected also are notified by the end of December.)
- Awards banquet planning and preparation take place through December and into January.
- Cares Award celebration banquet is held in January in conjunction with Premier Governance Education Conference. Cares Award recipient is announced from among six finalist entries.
