ACTION: Final rule; corrections.

SUMMARY: This document corrects several technical and typographical

errors in the final rule with comment period that appeared in the

November 25, 2009 Federal Register entitled ``Medicare Program; Payment

Policies Under the Physician Fee Schedule and Other Revisions to Part B

for CY 2010; Final Rule'' (74 FR 61738), as well as errors in the

December 10, 2009 correction notice to the ``Medicare Program; Payment

Policies Under the Physician Fee Schedule and Other Revisions to Part B

for CY 2010; Corrections'' (74 FR 65449).

DATES: Effective Date: This correction notice is effective January 1,

2010.

SUMMARY: As required by Section 5602 of Public Law 111-148, the Patient

Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, HRSA plans to establish a

comprehensive methodology and criteria for Designation of Medically

Underserved Populations (MUPs) and Primary Care Health Professions

Shortage Areas (HPSAs) [under sections 330(b)(3) and 332 of the Public

Health Service (PHS) Act, respectively], using a Negotiated Rulemaking

process. To do this, HRSA intends to establish a Negotiated Rulemaking

Committee under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA).

Publication of OIG Updated Special Fraud Alert on Telemarketing

by Durable Medical Equipment Suppliers

ACTION: Notice; correction.

SUMMARY: This document sets forth a correction to the OIG Federal

Register notice published on January 10, 2010 (75 FR 2105), addressing

our recently issued Updated Special Fraud Alert. Specifically, the

Updated Special Fraud Alert addressed the statutory provision

prohibiting durable medical equipment suppliers from making unsolicited

telephone calls to Medicare beneficiaries regarding the furnishing of a

covered item. An inadvertent error appeared on the heading line in

section II of that document regarding the final issuance date of the

notice. Accordingly, we are correcting that issuance date to ensure technical correctness of that document.

Issuers Relating to Dependent Coverage of Children to Age 26 Under the

Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act

ACTION: Interim final rules with request for comments.

SUMMARY: This document contains interim final regulations implementing

the requirements for group health plans and health insurance issuers in

the group and individual markets under provisions of the Patient

Protection and Affordable Care Act regarding dependent coverage of

children who have not attained age 26.

DATES: Effective date. These interim final regulations are effective on

July 12, 2010.

Comment date. Comments are due on or before August 11, 2010.

Applicability date. These interim final regulations generally apply

to group health plans and group health insurance issuers for plan years

beginning on or after September 23, 2010. These interim final

regulations generally apply to individual health insurance issuers for

policy years beginning on or after September 23, 2010.
