Fueled by an aging population and reimbursement constraints in hospitals, the continuum of care market, also known as non-acute care or alternate site, is one of the fastest growing facets of the healthcare industry today. As technology improves and procedures move out of hospital settings into out-patient settings, the need for these facilities to reduce costs has increased dramatically.

Contract portfolio

Premier Continuum of Care members are granted access to the Premier contract portfolio. The majority of our contract portfolio allows continuum of care members access to the same pricing granted to hospitals. Exact pricing is based on member volume and purchasing behavior. Program size

Premier’s Continuum of Care program volume has grown more than 15% year-over-year for the past three years. Premier is currently the largest group purchasing organization based on total purchasing volume.

DEDICATED CONTRACTING TEAM

The Premier Continuum of Care team includes a dedicated contracting team that ensures that continuum of care members’ product and contract needs are considered during the contracting process.

DEDICATED FIELD TEAM

The Premier Continuum of Care team includes a dedicated field force located across the country. We work directly with our owners and members to recruit and retain continuum of care members.

TOOLS

The Program Development team has developed tools and resources for continuum of care members.
