Premier's newly formed Influenza Task Force has developed a comprehensive Influenza Fact Sheet, describing available resources from Premier.
The Task Force includes representatives from Advocacy, Corporate Communications, Group Purchasing Services, Pharmacy, and the Safety Institute. This group monitors and shares information on issues related to seasonal influenza and pandemic preparedness. Ongoing issues that are monitored include seasonal vaccine availability and distribution, vaccination of high-risk groups, pandemic influenza alerts, emerging information on potential for avian flu transmission, and relevant updates or guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other government agencies.
