NPSF 2006 Congress: Call for posters and
early-bird registration
The National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF) will host its Eighth Annual Patient Safety Congress May 10-12, 2006, at the San Francisco (CA) Marriott.
The 2006 Congress is entitled, "Leadership for Safety: The Time is Now" and sessions will focus on effective implementation of programs that result in cultural change and sustained improvement. Early-bird registration is now open with $100 discounts for registration by April 14, 2006.
Call for posters
Poster displays will again be a highlight of the NPSF Patient Safety Congress. Both Solutions and Research
posters will be available. The 2006 Congress Solutions Posters will be focused on evidence of effective
leadership from managers that have created dramatic improvement in the area of patient safety. The poster
session is intended to highlight the use of cutting edge patient safety tools and the changes that have led
to demonstrable reductions in risk of harm, or improved safety across all areas of health care as it relates
to patient safety.
Poster submission deadline is February 24. All abstracts will be given final disposition and notification sent out by March 22. For more information, go to: www.npsf.org/congress/posters for abstract criteria and applications, or contact Debra Sigsbury, program coordinator, at 413.663.2014 or dsigsbury@npsf.org.
