Free audio conference: Improving patient safety through automated incident/error reporting and root cause analysis
Premier invites you to participate in a free monthly audio conference series, Informatics Advisor Live, featuring important healthcare measurement information.
The next program is March 9, from 2-3 p.m. (Eastern): Improving patient safety through automated incident/error reporting and root cause analysis. This program will review the value of a real-time system that includes integrating data and workflow, creating metrics for identified interventions, forming a common repository for benchmarking and comparative analysis and assessing the impact of interventions.
The program will feature an interview with Sanjaya Kumar, M.D., M.Sc., M.P.H., President and Chief Medical Officer, Quantros, Inc. In addition to his major work in informatics with the Louisiana Health Care Review organization (QIO) and IBM, he is a widely recognized thought leader for patient safety and continuous quality improvement.
