Premier offers
free culture survey data tool
Premier has developed a customized data collection and analysis tool that provides immediate feedback on the results of the hospital culture survey tool released by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
Customized data tool: The customized Excel™ data tool was developed for easy entry and rapid display of the results from the surveys to provide immediate internal review and feedback. The tool permits users to:
- Input raw data - create graphs and tables to display results
- Analyze - safety culture dimensions by work area, unit, or profession
- Share - results electronically
- Benchmark - tool calculates overall safety culture composite scores for benchmarking
Audio conferences: In related news, AHRQ in partnership with Premier Inc., the Department of Defense and the American Hospital Association hosted an audio conference on February 15 that discussed how to make the most of the survey as well as experiences of hospitals that have already used this toolkit. Slides from the conference are available. Watch for news of upcoming audio conferences about use of the tool in March "Survey logistics" and April "Taking Action."
