AHRQ Announces Call for Papers for Advances in Patient Safety: New Directions and Alternative Approaches
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) invites abstract submissions for its peer-reviewed publication, Advances in Patient Safety: New Directions and Alternative Approaches. As many of you may remember, AHRQ's first Advances publication, Advances in Patient Safety: From Research to Implementation (February, 2005), was a huge success and consisted of 4 volumes and nearly 140 articles.
Through this peer-reviewed publication, AHRQ seeks to highlight new paradigms, directions, technologies, and innovations that have the potential to improve patient safety across diverse health care settings. Submissions may address a variety of topic areas. Read the full Call for Papers, including information on potential topic areas and instructions for submitting abstracts.
AHRQ and other federally-funded grantees as well as investigators funded by professional associations, international partners, and other health care stakeholder groups are encouraged to submit abstracts. Abstracts are due May 8, 2007.
