Construction and renovation policy

Development and implementation of a comprehensive construction and renovation policy (CRP) is an essential step to ensure consideration of the full scope of construction, renovation and ICRA activities.  A well-designed policy ensures timely notification to the designated committee(s) for long range program planning efforts and short term projects.  It also provides for an infection control evaluation of each project from concept through completion and supports a systematic approach to project management. The policy should be submitted for approval by the facility’s board of trustees and reviewed/approved periodically. Resources are listed below.
