We are passionate about improving healthcare across the nation, and also being responsible citizens in our own backyard.

Since our corporate volunteer day was launched in 1998, Premier employees have donated countless hours of their time helping organizations in our communities. We also encourage our staff to give to charitable organizations, with a matching gift program of employee donations to eligible agencies or charitable organizations.

For 13 consecutive years, we’ve received the Practice Greenhealth Champion for Change Award for our environmental leadership in helping hospitals reduce waste and toxicity. Our GreenHealthy® program sets the bar for environmentally preferable purchasing and sustainable healthcare practices.

Our Charlotte headquarters is LEED-certified, and we are environmentally conscious in the acquisition, use, maintenance, reuse, recycling and disposal of products and services used throughout our business operations.

We also encourage our member hospitals and other organizations to do the same. Our Premier Cares Award program recognizes not-for-profit organizations that have made a significant positive impact on the health status of an underserved population.
