Independent Director, Executive Vice President, The Aspen Institute
David Langstaff has served as a member of the board of directors of Premier since September 2016. Langstaff has served as President of Argotyche Inc., a consulting and advisory services company, since 2003. He also serves as Executive Vice President of The Aspen Institute, where he has held various other leadership roles since 1998. He serves as a director of Boston Dynamics, an American engineering and robotics design company, and Idemia National Security Solutions, a leading biometric identification company.
His career includes serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of TASC Inc., a defense contractor, as well as the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Veridian Corporation, a NYSE-listed company specializing in mission-critical national security programs. Langstaff also served as Chief Executive Officer and co-chairman of The Olive Group, a global integrated security company, from 2006 until 2007.
Langstaff serves on the board of The Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, and previously served on the Defense Business Board, which provides independent advice to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense. He earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA from Harvard University.
