  • Daniel Pollock, MD – Dr. Daniel Pollock is a medical epidemiologist and the Surveillance Branch Chief in CDC’s Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP). Dr. Pollock joined CDC as an Epidemic Intelligence Service officer in 1984 and has worked in environmental health, injury prevention and control, informatics, and infectious diseases programs.
  • Jamie Swift RN, CIC, FAPIC  is the Corporate Director of Infection Prevention and Wound Care for Mountain States Health Alliance. She has responsibility for management of the Infection Prevention and Wound Care departments for the health system, which encompasses 14 hospitals across Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Jamie was a 2017 recipient of the APIC Infection Prevention Hero Award for her work done in establishing the first hospital in Tennessee to become a highly infectious disease assessment hospital in the Highly Infectious Disease Treatment Network. 
  • Joseph Kohn, Pharm.D., BCPS is the coordinator of Palmetto Health’s Antimicrobial Stewardship and Support Program. A graduate of the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy and residency training completed at Palmetto Health Richland (formerly Richland Memorial) in Columbia, South Carolina.  Kohn has been a critical care pharmacist for 16 years before helping launch adult antimicrobial stewardship services at Palmetto Health. He has also served as the PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Coordinator at Palmetto Health Richland.
