Isolation Gowns Made In The USA

When nearly 74 percent of U.S. hospitals reported that they were unable to source adequate quantities of isolation gowns in April 2020, Premier, S2S Global and 34 of our members, took action, partnering with DeRoyal Industries Inc. to create a new joint venture dedicated to expanding the domestic production of isolation gowns - a vital personal protective equipment (PPE) item for healthcare providers.

Via a state-of-the-art production facility here in the USA, the isolation gowns are now coming off the line.

In this collaboration, gowns are designed to member specifications considering care delivery requirements. We're also transforming a traditionally man-made process to fully automated production, with the capability to produce two gowns every second!

Beginning this year, we expect this partnership to produce more than 40 million domestically manufactured gowns annually, increasing availability and speed to market, and helping to drive savings.
