The disparities in healthcare and health outcomes experienced by racial and ethnic minorities reveal a clear and compelling need for new policy responses. Changes are needed to foster public-private collaborations to close the gaps in care and to otherwise provide for measures to address the stark differences in the way Americans experience healthcare.
