Premier Urges HHS to Make Improvements to COVID-19 Accelerated and Advance Payment Program
Premier joined seven other national hospital organizations in sending a letter to Health and Human Services, urging the agency to make improvements to the Accelerated and Advance Payment program. These changes are necessary to ensure that a program designed to address hospitals’ and other healthcare providers’ cash-flow issues associated with responding to COVID-19 does not inadvertently exacerbate these issues once the repayment period begins.
