Premier Inc. Innovation Celebration Features Range of New Healthcare Products

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Premier Inc. featured a range of groundbreaking healthcare products during its 11^th annual Innovation Celebration on June 18. The event honors industry-leading healthcare advancements and supplier commitment to innovation.

The Innovation Celebration is a key element of the 2019 Premier Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition, where more than 4,000 healthcare industry leaders from health systems, academic institutions, non-acute care providers and supplier organizations across the nation are in attendance this week.

“We are so proud to spotlight the innovative work healthcare leaders are doing to address care delivery challenges,” said Mike Alkire, President, Premier. “The products featured this year represent new and unique advances in the marketplace, which can significantly benefit care providers and their patients. We wish to thank the individuals who participated in the selection process and all the suppliers that made this year’s program particularly successful.”

Products and devices are selected by a group of dedicated volunteers from Premier’s member sourcing committees. Decisions are based on the product’s uniqueness, ability to have an impact on unmet clinical needs and potential to improve patient care.
